Residential Grange Farm Allerton Park

The Project

Our client for this extension wanted to add more space to their existing farmhouse. Part of a working farm, it had to be practical and in keeping with the farmhouse’s traditional style. The functional design and traditional framing fitted the aesthetic perfectly, providing office space and a place to relax for the owners.

The Design

320 sq ft of floor space.
Traditional English oak frame.
Raised crucks, purlins and rafter roof.

The Finish

The hand-finished frame was untreated
internally whilst oiled externally.
