Commercial Thwaites Stable Yard Blackburn

The Project

Commissioned by Thwaites Brewery, this project gave a real taste of tradition, creating a huge oak frame to stable the heavy horses and horse drawn drays. We designed, manufactured and erected the aisled barn, created in the traditional English oak framing style.

The Design

9000 sq ft of floor space.

The Finish

To give an authentic natural finish, the oak frame was left
untreated throughout, with a larch cladding added externally.
